Ribbet!

Check out these frog cupcakes my friend Amy and I made! I am so proud of them! I haven't ever made anything creative and crafty (in food form) like this! The eyes are gumdrops cut in half, white chocolate chips, and blue icing! We made them for our 2nd grade classes. Yes, I teach 2nd grade. I have been teaching 2nd for 4 years now, but since Allikaye came along...I have desired sososososo much to be at home with her....just like working moms everywhere. God has blessed me with the opportunity to job share 3rd grade next year! It is something that I laid before the Lord many many times...and well... Woohoo! That means I will be working only 2, or sometimes, 3 days a week! Praise the Lord! Okay...back to the cupcakes... have any of you made any crafty food yummies?? I want to know! I had fun making them - and it wasn't hard! Do share...

I also opened my mail to a new magazine today!
I love all my parenting magazines.
I am excited for this one...And last...here is a cute picture of Miss Thing walking in mama's shoes!
Also...what do you think about the Bachelorette?? I can't believe she's has kept some of these dudes! But I think I have my picks for the end already...Graham, Jeremy, and Jason...

Way to go on the cupcakes!! VERY CUTE!! No, crafy food ideas here though. I do like Family Fun magazine though for good ideas. :)
I didn't realize you were still teaching! I have never heard of job sharing for teachers!! Wow, that is really exciting. How exactly does that work? I taught first before Ella was born. :) I'll go back probably when she starts kindergarten.

Those are awesome! I didn't know you were a teacher, that is my major at MTSU (yes, 4 kids later, I finally know what I want to be when I grow up). Love the idea of a job share!! Would love to talk to you about that as you go through it!!

Is there any way you could ship a frog to Arkansas??? Those are so cute!!! The only crafty food thing I have made are ghosts involving twinkies & vanilla icing...they were delicious! I'm so excited that you are going to get to stay at home a few days a week next year!!! What a blessing from God!

The Barn Stars I've gotten were found at HomeGoods, Big Lots, and on Ebay. The pink ones I painted myself. HTH!

LOVE those cupcakes... I used to make cupcakes all the time, but haven't been lately! I think I need to get back into it!! :)

For Bachelorette... first of all, I am loving her, she is so darn cute! And for the boys.. I think Graham is super hot, but my favorite and the one to win is hopefully Jason!!! I think she will probably keep Jeremy around for a while, but his face is always so shiny which freaks me out hehe!!! :)

Yay! I just started getting "Cookie" too! And another YAY for the job share! I feel your pain...I have a secret hope that I'll get to cut back from full-time someday, but it's not looking likely. Instead, Brian might become a stay-at-home Daddy! (not fair!) But if the house is cleaned & meals cooked...could be a nice change!

Yaaaaay for you with your job! I'm a nurse and I work as "relief" a couple of days every now and then. You will not regret it! Found your blog through Candy! Love it!

Super cute little cupcakes! I am planning a cupcake themed birthday for my daughter in July so I am always inspired when I see something fun and new!!

And the Bachelorette??!! My best friend and I have had some lengthy conversations about this show and we are convinced that the show gets to pick at least one and maybe two guys that she "has" to keep on for awhile for ratings! I mean, HELLO Twilley!! I am voting for Jason!! Graham just doesn't seem to have it all together enough yet and Jeremy is getting on my nerves...but she likes his confidence (I think he is cocky!!)!! Guess we'll see!!

Hey! I just came across your blog and I'm totally obsessed with The Bachelorette and I would just like to say that I'm super glad she got rid of Graham. Although he was way hotttttt, he was messing with her head way too much and it was started to really irritate me. Grrrrrr.

Anyway, I'm happy and I hope she gets what she's looking for. I'm rooting for Jason. He's sweet.

Love your blog! And I'm so trying out that blocks idea for my little girl!

Lindsey :)
