Colorado Balloon Classic!

Better late than never...
here are some pictures form our fun Labor Day weekend!
We (of course) spent time with grandmama and papa...
woke up EARLY...
put on our sweatshirts...
and went to see the fun big hot air balloons!
This is where the balloons would dip into the lake on their way outta town!
Look - even all the animals got to dip!
The ark was an obvious fave of Miss Thing!
I have so many pictures of Allikaye (and whoever was holding her)
straining their necks up to the sky...
she was taking in as much as she could of the cool balloons!
It is so fun to be able to share new memories with Allikaye!
The innocence and excitement she has...
for everything... is so refreshing!
She makes me act more like a kid...if that's possible!

How fun!

How cute and fun! I know, I love all those "firsts"....can almost bring tears to my eyes, LOL.

Well, I don't quite have a toddler...so I can't help! I'd be interested in seeing some ideas, too!

p.s. I can almost "hear" your midland accent as I read your blog, hee hee!

How cute! I remember going to the hot air balloons with you a long time ago.

We enjoy the zoo, museums, library, shopping, bowling, and activities at the ymca.

Emma has the same jacket that Allikaye is wearing in the pictures. :)

my girls love play areas in the mall, the park, we have a farmer's market, street performers every thursday night, festivals throughout the summer, friday concerts in the park. Some of these we have never been too, but I know the kiddos would love them.

**Sigh** I miss Co. so much! I am a native and am living in South Texas. That made me so homesick. Glad you had fun- should be getting cold there soon... Happy POW!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment! It's nice to meet you.

Your pictures of the hot air balloons are beautiful. What a gorgeous day!

My kids laughed over and over watching your Funny Panda video. Thanks for the chuckle.

I like your cooking blog too. Those are my kind of recipes. Easy and yummy.

What great picures! That looks like so much fun!!

I am just getting into the toddler world. This is pretty average but we just went to an awesome place called the Urban Treehouse. The babies can play and interact with other kids. The whole place is kid safe and the moms can have food and drinks from their cafe. It was a lot of fun!

Anderson Farms has the best pumpkin patch in Colorado in my opinion. My girlfriend and I I have met for 4 years running to go for our hay ride and pick our pumpkins. She comes from Parker to met me.
Love that Balloon Fest too, wish it could be held at sunset. Just such an early morning.
