Valentine's Day!

My pink princess milk drinkin' Valentine...

Here are Allikaye's
Valentine's that she passed out to her class...
we made the melted crayon hearts.
There may have been bribery in
the form of tootsie rolls to get her to
sign her name on every one.
Here is the Valentine box...
Sweet handwriting...
Cookie Pops...
we made these for Allikaye's class...

Such a fun lovey dovey holiday!
I caught Miss AK in mid-laugh...
and I love her little scrunched up nose!!

Daddy got us flowers...candy...
and a mini pillow pet unicorn for Miss Valentine herself!

Happy Day!
So thankful for a day to tell those you love...
that you love them!!

xoxo

Daddy Daughter Ball

Allikaye had her first case of
Strep Throat...
and it was blizzardy outside...
but nothing could hold this princess back
from getting all dolled up
to go out and dance the night away with her
daddy...I mean...prince.
I had to catch a few pictures of her talking
to herself in the mirror...
she loves having her hair curled and pretty...
all girl, this one!
Sweet smile...even sick...
Precious watching her watch daddy getting ready...
she picked out the Venice gondola tie for Matt to wear...
it was a very serious decision.
"Mommy, this time I get to go on a date with daddy.
You can go next time"
Nothing like a daddy and daughter love.
Eeeeee! She was so excited!

I had to put these next 2 pictures in...
they show Miss Allikaye exactly how we see her...
CHATTY!

She was telling Matt all the different ways they were
going to dance...
"...and then you will swing me up in the air...
and then I will spin around you..."
"Doesn't that sound FUN, dad?"
Pretty! PRETTY!!!
I love her long hair!

Then they were off!
Despite being sick,
Matt said she was her crazy dancing self!

They came home showing me how to do
the YMCA...
and even singing some Justin Beiber songs...
baby, baby, baby, oh!

Such a wonderful and memorable
and important night in Allikaye's life!

Thanks, Matt,
for being such a great daddy...I mean...prince!

I am thirty.

This snow sculpture is saying,
"Ashley is 30!!"
Ah!

We celebrated with a weekend away...
in the mountains...
with our favorite friends...
and it
was
fabulous!

We stayed in Winter Park
and visited Breckenridge
to visit the amazing snow sculptures!
I'm 30!
Daddy's favorite...
Mama and her girl...
My boyfriend carving our names...
Mallory and Allikaye looking out from their snow castle...

The dad heads of Matt and Justin
make me laugh in this picture...

AK...
Cheeeessseee!

Then back at the amazingly nice condo!
The girlies in their pajama pose...
Bunk beds are the coolest, according to Miss Thang...
My smiley girl in the morning...
with her sleepy friend....

Now this right here is a birthday present
enough for me...
Gorgeous girl...
Rosy cheeks and hot chocolate after sledding...
sigh...

And here is some daddy fun...
Allikaye and me were Matt's ski lift.

We would drop him off here,
at the top of the Continental Divide...
(and see the road down there...
that's where we would drive and pick him up)...
Here he is coming down to us!
Our back country snowboardin' daddy-o!
I love Allikaye's face in this picture...
sooo proud and amazed at her dad...
We dropped him off and drove down to pick
him up about 5 times...
he loved it!
And we did too,
he is fun to watch!

This is what I found at the bottom one time...
pick him up!!

It was a really great weekend!
Or, using the word of choice for Allikaye lately,
it was SUPER fun!

I love the mountains...
I love friends...
and I love being able to celebrate my birthdaywith my favorites!

30.
Here goes...

We love the snow!

Sledding...

A blob of a snowman...
with mini oreo eyes and mouth...
And a happy happy snow dog...
Makes for a perfect snowy time!
We love the snow!

Four...4...

She's not 1 anymore...
She's not 2 anymore...
She's not 3 anymore...
She's 4!!
Yippee!!
and not a hint of an attitude...
Party time!
Decorations are up!
Table is ready for the princesses to arrive!
Raspberry Kisses...
amazing.
Pink pink and more pink...
Love this on the chalkboard...
The cake!
Made to the specifications of Allikaye.
This girl knows what she wants!
Pictures strung with care...
Sweet lovey dovey cards hung...
And the 4 year old herself...
Awaiting her guests to arrive!
Pretty princesses at their tea and craft time!
So dainty...
She loves it!
The royalty decorated foam hearts
with glitter and stickers.
They also used lots of different sized hearts to create
heart animals.
Here is Allikaye creating a crab out of hearts...
Then there was an impromptu
dance party with some princess music blasting...
Spinning and dancing...
Then presents!! Woohoo!
So many princess goodies and pink!
SO she was h-a-p-p-y!

We played a couple other games
and took more pictures...
still to come!!!

The Princess Tea Party
was a success and so much fun for the birthday girl!

I love this girl!

Had to include my
4 year old in her new
chef's hat and apron...

Very seriously creating a yummy treat...
I have a 4 year old.
Wow.
