Eleven Months!

These sweet little hearts 

are eleven months old! 

Almost a whole year! 

W.O.W...seriously...wow. 

 

My sweet Kai. 

This boy is all the over the place!

But still has lots of moments when 

he is happiest with mama holding him. 

He is all boy and we laugh so hard

at the boy-ish things he is doing.

For one...picking up and then throwing toys. 

Especially toys that will make a bang when dropped. 

He is also biting...eeee. 

He knows now not to bite one of us...

but we are working on him biting his twin sister. 

She is getting sore little arms whenever 

she gets in Kai's mouth area...

or attempts to take one of his toys. 

We will be working on sharing with these

almost one year olds! 

Kai also will throw both of his arms

way up in the air when we say, 

"raise the roof!"

"touchdown!"

"Praise the Lord!"

He doesn't have time to stop and really sit and play - 

so he has brilliantly begun to carry whatever toy

he wants to keep track of..

in. his. mouth. 

Our little puppy:

 My precious Cambria. 

She loves to watch us and then imitate

our sounds, faces, and actions. 

Our little parrot. 

She likes to blow raspberries...

do an indian call...

smack her lips together. 

She learns quickly

and gets proud of herself to repeat us. 

And she loves to clap!

All we have to say is "YAY" and the

sweet clap comes out. 

Cam can sign, "eat" 

and seems to always want to be 

carrying around a cracker, cookie, or cheerios. 

She would non-stop snack if I let her.

She has also started to get this 

little whine thing going when Kai will take one of her toys. 

Telling on brother for sure.

Cambria and big sister Allikaye...

AK said she wants to be a vet when she grows up...

but said this time she can work on babies too.

Allikaye and Matt had the 

long-awaited Daddy Daughter Ball

 on February 16th. 

Miss Thang just counts down the days

until she gets to go with her prince to this! 

 Daddy took her to Outback. 

Special little date night!

They danced the night away...

staying to the last song...

such a good daddy!

Valentine's Day!!

Ten Months Old!

Here are my little twinkies!!! 

10 months old! 

Active...active...active! 

Each have separate and beautiful personalities...

and each bring me so much joy. 

SO much joy.

 Getting harder to take these month shots! 

Only 2 more and they are one!

So hard to believe!

 Mr. Kai is such a non-stop machine!

He has learned to sign "all done"

Would rather me feed him with a spoon than finger feed

He loves giving kisses..open mouth...

so cute when he goes up and kisses Cam's little head. 

He now has 8 teeth

Waves hi and bye

Still wakes up in the night to eat (boo)

Says mo.mo.mo meaning "more" when he's eating. 

Loves life. 

Laughs. 

*sigh*

 Miss Cambria is sweet sweet sweet

She has mastered clapping and melts our hearts 

with the little smacking

 Loves waving hi and bye

Finally has teeth! One and a half

Says "cat" in a sweet little whisper

Mostly sleeps all night

Developed quite a little scream...

especially when Kai takes a toy.

Would be fine with only one nap a day (boo)

Loves her pacifier...but not as much as her big sister did

Would rather feed herself than me spoon feed her

Laughs a big belly laugh

Loves all those around her

*sigh*

entertainment while mama is trying to cook...

10 months has gone so very fast with these two...

and I will be as repetitive as needed

and say...

they are pure joy. 

Stop the clocks...

one year is coming up too fast!

My girl is six...

hard to believe that 6 years has gone by

since the day I laid eyes on my angel girl. 

She has filled our lives with 

joy, laughter, and blessings upon blessings. 

Happy birthday my wonderful! 

 Six year old Allikaye...

 

Loves the Lord

concerned about people that may not know Jesus

wants to be a vet

such a little mother to the babies - 

worries about them 

(where they are, if they are putting things in their mouths...)

wants us to pray with her every night...comes downstairs if we forget

loves nights when she can watch a movie 

in bed before sleep (non school nights)

wants chicken nuggets and ranch every day for lunch at school, 

except on Thursday pizza days

loves to write and make up stories

reads everything...signs, commercials

asks how to spell things all the time

could stay in her pjs all day everyday

loves stuffed animals

never tired...or at least she says...except when sick

asks questions until she fully understands something

very conscious of right and wrong

the other morning she said, "mom, I am really excited to go to school today! 

And I am not even being pathetic!" 

I said, "Do you mean sarcastic?" 

"Yeah! I'm not even being sarcastic!"

Six. 

True love.

Christmas!! Babies First!!

 We started off with a letter to 

Santa written by Allikaye...

Dear Santa, 

Good luck delivering the presents. 

Thank you for being so jolly. 

I hope you like my bark

on Christmas morning!

Yippee!

 So happy!!

 Allikaye had so much fun

getting everything she asked for

and more!!

 Cambria was happy to get her first princess doll!

She wanted one so bad...

and hasn't really taken it off since! ha! 

 Poor big sister waited until all the 

excitement of presents was over for the day, 

then the fever came on. 

Poor girl slept for most of the afternoon...

 We were all tired, 

and enjoyed the most relaxed Christmas we have had!

So much fun to celebrate

the birth of our Savior with

3 (!) kids! 

The excitement, smiles, innocence, 

and pure joy is what it's all about!

9 Months!

 Every month I have been able to take

the cutest happy pictures of my

growing babies...

and now...

the 9th month...

Cam just did not want to pose

for mama any more!

 Kai was just cool, 

wondering what the deal with sister was...

 And finally...

she just had enough!

And believe me, the crying stopped immediately

after I picked her up. 

She loves to be held and snuggled.

 Kai boy this month is non-stop movement...

literally non-stop. 

I joke that he touches every surface 

of the downstairs 10 times in an hour.

He also has 6 teeth! 6! 

He chomps through his cookies and crackers quick! 

We are expecting him to walk anytime now!

He loves to go furniture to furniture...

and pulls up on everything!

 

Cambria girl is standing and 

pulling up like crazy too.

She is more content to stand and eat her cheerios

(which she loves)

for awhile and then cruise around and play with Kai. 

Music comes on and Cam starts the dancing right away!

She bounces her legs...

shakes her head back and forth...

and flaps her arms. 

Can't stop the beat in this girl! 

 There are a couple teeth trying to make their 

way out...

and causing fevers and the yucks.

Hopefully soon!

One of the biggest joys of this month

has been the laughing and smiles

that are heard shared between Kai and Cam.

They are so loving each others company

more and more.

When I am driving, 

they just look over at each other and

I get to hear squeals and laughter the whole time!

I watched one day and Cam would look away from Kai

and then turn her head quickly towards him...

causing him to crack up!

She knows what makes him laugh!

And when I bring them into each others room after naps - 

they have the biggest smiles when they spot one another. 

Pure love.

I love that they have each other.

Almost walking 8 month olds!!!

 My sweet angel babies are 

8 months!! 

 Kai Kai is so strong!

He has 4 and half teeth...

loves to pull up and stand everywhere...

he would prefer to be standing at all times...

he loves to say "mama" - especially when he's tired and hungry...

he is also my one not picky baby when it comes to eating! 

Yay! I wanted at least one kid that would eat anything!

He also is making the sweetest little squeals and giggles 

when he looks at Cambria...

and LOVES laughing at Allikaye!

Cambria Jane...

she is so animated when she is excited and happy...

especially when you go get her from her crib...

and when she gets sips of water from my cup!

She is such a talker! 

Says"All Done!" and "Dada" 

and lots of other secrets of the world...

She also does a pretty good sign for 'all done' and for 'milk'...

Although she is a more picky eater than brother, 

she is a champion at feeding herself...

She loves to make Kai laugh, 

and seems to know just the look to give him to make him laugh.

She is amazingly sweet!  

Lately, when I walk into Kai's room I see this...

he will go from screaming and crying for me to come in...

to instantly smiling!

Cam is also pulling herself up all over the joint too!

We had fun helping decorate the tree...

 Have to include pictures of the first

messy spaghetti!

 Kai doesn't have time to smile for the camera

when it is eating time!

Allikaye is the best big sister! 

The best!

Allikaye is becoming an amazing reader! 

And an amazing writer! 

Allikaye also played some basketball!!

She was the only girl!!!

And she loved it! 

She has the skillz like her daddy!!
