Spring Break!

Allikaye has no trouble
pretending and imagining...
none whatsoever.
The first thing she talks about in the morning...
until her eyes are shut at night...
is...
"O....K...mom, you be the queen/children/sister/mom,
and I'll be the princess/mom/dragon catcher/,
and Tre will be the dragon/horse/
and dad you're the king/prince/dragon fighter"
and on and on.

So needless to say,
we don't really need a spark to this
girl's imagination!
But if we DID...
the Children's Museum would be the place to be!

It is such an awesome place!
And the older Allikaye gets...
the more she appreciates all the fun rooms and activities!

We played with some trains...
Allikaye loves Chuggington.

the store.
It is designed for kids...
not 6'5" daddys.

She was so serious about this.
We had to each take our places...
no joking around.

And round 1, 233 of food in her basket.
We had to lure her to other rooms
to end the shopping madness!

Then we made a peacock...
she is so proud!

there weren't any babies...no worry.

After this we enjoyed the hot weather
downtown Denver.
Waded in the river...
ate at our favorite old school tavern...
My Brother's Bar.
And then even topped the day off with ice cream!!
Oh...and a nap for mama!
